Department of Homeland Security awards an additional Million dollar energy project to FESCO Energy for the construction of a new building to improve its task capacity and execution ability.

Frederick, MD – November 11th, 2019

FESCO Energy (FESCO) was awarded a contract to provide engineering, design and construction of a new facility that enhances mission and task capability for an armory of the Department of Homeland Security in PA. The project replaces critical “task” related equipment and energy infrastructure with new task related equipment that increases the capacity of DHS to complete its mission of refurbishment and management of firearms.

“This project includes the design and construction of a new building, including the accompanying energy infrastructure of fiber optics, SCADA, security systems, process equipment, and HVAC systems; and connecting those systems to mission and task critical processes without interrupting the existing workflow. The project replaces antiqued infrastructure with new system that enables higher task capacity while lowering operating expenses.” said John Dukes, President FESCO Energy.
